Consultants Mr Haq and Mr Wakefield came together during Covid in 2021 to work with Medcentres Plus to provide the best possible care for their patients. Despite being founded in a time of great uncertainty, the services have gone from strength to strength providing a range of eye care services including cataract surgery from the centre of Salisbury.
Building on this success has seen the team recently treat their 1000th patient, with Mr Haq commenting “We are very proud of the team we work with, providing the highest possible level of care for our patients using the latest equipment to help them return to the activities they love”.  Mr Wakefield said“ We were pleased to present a hamper to mark this occasion to Mrs Cluett who underwent successful treatment at Sarum Vision”

All cataract surgeries are performed by experienced, locally based consultant specialists from Medcentres Plus’s dedicated facilities, with both outpatient and surgical appointments delivered under one roof. 
As we reflect on this milestone, we remain committed to expanding access and helping more people return to the activities they love, with clearer vision and greater confidence.
